Fort Wayne Maternity Photographer | Styled Maternity
When my best friend since high school told me she was pregnant we pretty much immediately started planning her maternity photos. With her in Ohio and me in Fort Wayne, we needed a creative way to plan her session. I loved the process we used and I can’t wait to incorporate it with our other clients. We created a shared Pinterest board and each of us pinned ideas to style the session. Speaking of Pinterest, be sure you pin these maternity photos to your boards for inspiration! It was perfect because we live in different states so this allowed us to come together and collaborate on ideas for her maternity photos without actually being able to sit down in person. For our clients, Pinterest boards become a great way to brainstorm a vision for your styled session. When we meet in person for your consultation we will lay the groundwork for your session design. We’ll talk about what you want your maternity photos to look like, where you want to display them in your home, and what style fits best with your home décor. We’ll talk wardrobe and styling- I’ll show you the options we have in our wardrobe closet for maternity gowns and accessories. Janelle has always loved the lake. She’s an avid sailor and I knew right away I wanted to incorporate her love of the water into her session. We headed out to the lake and took a drive around it, stopping at a few secluded fishing spots that looked unimpressive to the untrained eye ;). And although it was an overcast evening, the sky peaked out at the end of our session and gave us a gorgeous pink sunset <3.
