What does a lifestyle newborn photographer do differently?
When I had my second daughter I knew exactly the style of photographs I wanted to capture our early moments as a family of four; and I knew I needed a lifestyle newborn photographer.Why?
Because I wanted photographs that reflected our real life and put us right back in those moments when we looked at them years later.
I wanted to stay in our home rather than rushing around with a toddler and a new baby trying to pack everything we could possibly need into the car for a 4 hour styled newborn session. I wanted photographs in the house where we brought our babies home, because I knew we wouldn’t live there forever. I didn’t want to break the little routine we were establishing of feeding, sleeping, being together in our element. I wanted photographs that captured every detail of our precious newborn, from her little peach fuzz to her umbilical cord, but still portrayed her tiny size by posing her in her daddy’s hands.
I wanted a session that was not stressful,
one that didn’t leave me worrying if the baby would stay asleep while the photographer posed her or how long it would take before the toddler tore apart the entire studio while we were distracted.

The Bellingers welcomed their sweet new addition last month. Big sister loved introducing me to her baby and loving on her with sweet kisses and cuddles. I loved seeing this blossoming relationship of sisterhood, the beginning of a lifelong friendship. It’s such an amazing honor to capture these moments for our clients <3.
